Christine Nguyen Chats Reprising Her Role As Addison Harper On Season 5 Of “The Bold Type”

"Finding the love in all my choices has helped me dive deeper into the role. It also raises the stakes without compromising authenticity. Starting out I had an idea of what I wanted Addison to be however, during my first day on set, I realized quickly that part of the process is being brave enough to let it all go. Acting is definitely a team sport and the best stories are the ones told collaboratively."

Crookes

Christine Nguyen Interview | The Bold Type on Amazon Prime

As an actor, what are you still trying to learn?

To trust that my work is enough. It’s hard not to want to perfect the art, which is funny because the art of acting works in a way to reveal our imperfections. Wanting to perfect it, gets in the way of me being present and living in the moment. It’s something that I struggle within everyday life. I have to get used to the fact that it’s okay to be perfectly, imperfect.
